Tremont Arranges $3,950,000 Financing for Appleton Wal-Mart


The Chicago office of Tremont Realty Capital arranged financing for the refinance of the Appleton Wal-Mart, a 195,374 square foot free standing Wal-Mart located in Appleton, Wisconsin.

A Senior Director with Tremont, arranged the $3,950,000 loan, which was funded through a major institutional lender. The 10-year non-recourse loan was priced with a 4.63% interest rate. The property was an existing Wal-Mart that had recently expanded, and was 100% occupied at the time of closing. According to Tremont, "The loan was structured as a self-amortizing 10-year loan, with 10 years left on the lease term. However, the project has several extension options that will most likely be exercised since this is one of the top Wal-Marts in Wisconsin."
