Tremont Structures $8,000,000
Equity For Atlanta Power Center
The
Boston office of Tremont Realty Capital structured an equity
investment for the recapitalization of Parkway Pointe, a
195,562 square foot power center, located in Atlanta, GA.
Dennis Walsh, a Senior Director with Tremont,
arranged the $8,000,000 investment, which was funded by
a national REIT. The investment reflected a preferred equity
position in a stabilized power center with a strong mix
of national tenants. The owner, a local developer, was able
to attract a long-term investor, and create some immediate
liquidity behind an existing senior loan. In addition, the
seller was able to retain management and leasing of the
center. According to Walsh, "our client was extremely
pleased with the investment as it fit their core investment
strategy in a strong market with long term leases and credit
tenants."
