Matt Mackin

Matt Mackin is an Analyst on Tremont Realty Capital's Asset Management team, where he helps oversee the ongoing performance and risk profile of the firm's commercial real estate loan portfolio. In his role, he evaluates borrower requests for modifications, extensions and other approvals from a credit and risk management perspective, while also conducting front-end due diligence on prospective lending opportunities. His responsibilities include assessing underwriting assumptions, reviewing collateral fundamentals and supporting portfolio monitoring efforts across a range of property types.

Prior to joining the firm in 2026, he spent two years in the property accounting department at RMR Group, where he supported the financial operations of a diverse real estate portfolio. Earlier in Mr. Mackin's career, he worked as a Property Accountant at Torrington Properties.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Bentley University in 2022, where he also served as Captain of the university's golf team. He is a Licensed Massachusetts Real Estate Broker.
